Ice is a therapeutic modality used in inflammatory conditions. By icing for then minutes a day prior to bed, we are able to decrease the amount of pain associated with inflammation. Apply ice directly for approximately ten or fifteen minutes. Our favorite ice bag is a package of frozen peas, which has been broken up on the floor.
